Many players have expressed an interest in our Fall League. Fall Ball will begin the week after Labor Day on Challenger Field at Crawford Woods Park. Depending on the interest, we will probably play for 4 weeks or so. The fee for Fall Ball will be $15, due at your first game. Checks can be made payable to Butler County Challenger.
If you would like to play Fall Ball, please email David Bucher at dbucher@cinci.rr.com and include your name, your child's name, what team they ordinarily play for, and the best way to contact you so that we can get ahold of you to make you aware of the schedule.
If you have questions you can contact Dave Bucher, or Alan Lakamp at alakamp@aol.com or Alan's cell phone at 513.623.4120.
We look forward to seeing you!!

We'd like to extend many thanks to the First Watch Cafe in West Chester for sponsoring a fundraiser supper for our league. Ordinarily, First Watch locations only serve breakfast and lunch, closing at 2:30pm, but on August 16th, the staff stayed awhile longer and helped us raise nearly just under $1000 for the league! Many thanks to Michelle, Dan, and the rest of the crew for their patience with training us and the wonderful cooking.

We have a number of committees in place to help run the league, and we need some help on these committees. We are asking for volunteers to donate some time and give us a hand. Some of the committees would require a day or two, and some are longer term. If you would like to volunteer, please contact one of the board members listed below.

It is a great honor for the Members of the Board and Officers of Butler County Challenger Baseball to take this opportunity to offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Tonja and Eric Pohlman.
After reviewing the operations and financials of the league, a story quickly becomes apparent. Tonja and Eric have given more to the children and young adults of Challenger Baseball than anyone could have ever asked. Beyond working long and hard to achieve a growing and vibrant league and the creation of our own "Field of Dreams", the Pohlmans have been generous financial supporters of the league in too many ways to count and far beyond the call of duty. Moreover, the Pohlmans have left Butler County Challenger Baseball in a stronger financial position than in years past and have even been able to help out members of the league more than ever before.
During the years Eric served as President and Tonja worked tirelessly to assist him, the Pohlmans consistently acted with class and grace and in the best interests of the league. These two wonderful forces of good deserve to be remembered by this body and the members of the league with great affection and respect. By being careful and loving stewards of the leagues mission and resources, Tonja and Eric Pohlman have served with integrity and honor and it is our duty to say thank you. Tonja and Eric Pohlman, you have our most sincere love, respect and gratitude.
